St. Mary's School has been providing a Catholic based education to its students in Whittier, CA, since 1923. The school hired me to takeover a site that had been started but development had stagnated. I kept the basic look that had been originally agreed upon, and developed the site from that starting point. This site utilizes CSS, DHTML, Perl formmail script, JavaScript, and a Java slideshow applet. To save on maintenance costs, this site features 17 pages that were designed in Word, to allow school staff to update them. |

June 2000 to November 2001
BAC was not a client of DeLeese Consulting, they were my primary employer (please see resume). I was their "Webmaster" (unofficial title). Officially, I was employed as a Sr. Programmer Analyst. I was responsible for developing new pages, both static and transactional and maintaining the web site. The extranet transaction pages allow clients to access information from the BAC databases. Check out the Demo Tour pages to see what types of services are offered via these pages, no password is needed for the demonstration pages. I took over sole responsibility for this site in August of 2000, from a third party web design firm who designed the initial pages for this site. This site has grown to comprise nearly 200 web pages and it is still growing. This site utilizes JavaScript, Active Server Pages, and Cognos PowerHouse Web application tools. The only remaining pages on this site that I authored are the extranet pages and the Demo pages for the extranet transactions. |
